I purchased Sound BlasterX G6 and for cabling reasons I need either to buy a 1,5m-2m USB cable from it to the PC, or connect the Sound BlasterX G6 through my monitor (Lenovo Y27q-20) to the PC. The latter would be like 0,5m cable to monitor and like 1 meter cable from the monitor to the PC.

Does it make any difference if it goes through the monitor's USB hub, where I have also my keyboard connected, to the PC?

I love the Sound BlasterX G6 + DT990 combo so far!
