Browser control type
If you want to give browser control to user in run mode, use '
Manual browser control
' action.
Indirect control
(F1)
User can't send mouse move or click events to browser, he also can't type a text or do any other action. In order to interact, he must select element and click on it. This will bring a context menu with all available actions. This method is most safe and recommended for most situations.
Direct control
(F2)
User can control browser, every mouse movement and keyboard event will be sent to browser directly. In order to execute special action on some element, like solving captcha, getting a screenshot or checking element existence, user must right click on this element and select required action from context menu.
Direct control, add actions to scenario tab
(F3)
This method is the same as "Direct control" with one exception - every action executed on browser is inserted into scenario tab. This means that after performing an action sequence user will have a script, however result may be not accurate and may require manual editing. "Indirect control" mode is more preferable.
