I have a problem with Reddit that forces me to complete a WebAuthn verification through the native Windows Security window (“Choose where to save your passkey”) that appears during WebAuthn/passkey operations. When it opens, the thread gets stuck: BAS cannot interact with it because it is a system window and not part of the webpage.

What I have already tried:

I added --disable-features=WebAuthenticationUseNativeWinApi in Browser Settings, under the command-line arguments. This does prevent the native Windows window from appearing, but Chromium displays its own internal WebAuthn dialog instead, and the thread still gets stuck there.

I also overrode navigator.credentials.get / create and PublicKeyCredential.isConditionalMediationAvailable using an “Execute JavaScript” action. This only works on the document where I execute it: the override is lost on every navigation and does not apply inside iframes, so the prompt appears again.

Is there a way to handle this verification directly from BAS?
