Linux support would be useful, but I think people underestimate how much legacy architecture BAS carries. Its foundations go back many years. Proper Linux support could require such extensive changes that it would effectively mean building a new BAS runtime.

Keeping the editor on Windows reduces the scope, but the runtime, browser integration and native dependencies still have to work reliably on Linux. Adding another compilation option means having a working, maintainable implementation behind that option.

The developer would also need a deep understanding of each supported OS: its system APIs, process management, permissions, dependency handling and debugging tools. Then every release needs testing and maintenance across those platforms. That is a substantial ongoing responsibility.

C/C++ cross-compilation adds another headache. Toolchains, native libraries, linking and binary compatibility all need attention. Getting an executable to compile is one milestone; making it run reliably on users’ servers is another.

Even the published BAS build guide still lists Qt 5.6.0 and Visual Studio 2013/2015. That does not prove current releases use those exact versions, but it hardly inspires confidence in the modernization of the underlying build stack. If keeping the existing SDKs and tooling current is already a problem, supporting additional operating systems would multiply that maintenance burden.

I would expect serious architectural modernization to come first. Otherwise, Linux support risks becoming another layer of workarounds on top of an already very old foundation.

@Roy-Mustang I tried but i face some issues while trying to add the api thats why i post here

@support @Fox any updates ?

@rameezkhank557 Just ask your trusted LLM, and within 30 minutes you'll have your own MCP server.

@pirkhezr said in I need this feature to make the interface less boring.:

@sergerdn Does your script have similar multithreading processes?

Yes.

@shux 咱俩看法差不多，搞成中文更看不懂。 那还不如学学易语言。全中文

@Alex84 it does not work.

I told @StephanBlackStar what the problem is in the post and i didn't get any feedback. Other users have problems as well as you can see in the thread, so the module does not work.

Having a stand alone module makes this a lot easier

@Rabbitgang do you find any ather module

@fr0121 said in Grouping Multiple Blocks:

It would be a nice solution to increase code readability and cleanliness.

For example, let these blocks I selected do a certain job.

a “- button” is created on the first block I mark, when I click it, all these blocks are hidden in the first block.

then the - button turns into a + button and if the + button is clicked again the blocks are revealed again.

At the end of all this work, long and complex blocks of code are grouped in a very simple way, making it easier to access and use the relevant code.

Try using the "if" action with code 1
