@fixyourself said in "Timeout During Reset":

Everytime the bot tries to reset with the reset function it tells me "Timeout During Reset" and the bot just stops
Any idea how to fix this?

await(new Promise((resolve, reject) => {

I have found a solution that can keep the BAS variables in your extra files. Simply set a initial value to the BAS variables in the "Current" file before they are used in the extra files. Example: in your current file near the top add [[RESULTS]] = ''.

Once you set the BAS variable to any value in the "Current" file, you're able to get and set it in the extra files.

@Support knows about this problem and will fix it in the next version. By setting any value in the "current" file for the BAS variable, you will get a bug in the "Run" mode:

current file

[[RESULT]] = "hello" await require("../bas.js")();

bas.js

module.exports = async function () { await BAS_API("VAR_RESULT = thread_number()"); return console.log([[RESULT]]) }

result:

Test script

Solved, completed it by getting coordinates where the username is and the add the distance to the like button.

@yourfriendkarol said in How to LOWER volume of "PLAYSOUND"?:

Hi! If I change it in taskbar volume settings then it will go back to loud when i restart the app.

I have manual browser control part in my script and i need to call sound but its too loud for me to stand it

Any help appreciated!

add the line --mute-audio to the chrome_command_line.txt file

Or use the "Javascript" action with the code:

var mute=function(tag){var elems = document.getElementsByTagName(tag);for(var i = 0; i < elems.length; i++){elems[i].muted=true;}};mute("video");mute("audio");document.addEventListener("DOMSubtreeModified", function(event) {mute("video");mute("audio");});

Actualy [[AGE]] = Birthday year . i need to calculate his/her age , So Was trying to calculate it.

@hnb said in Problem of browser closing when click in the page:

using multiple accounts on the same site, i have to get 1 fingerprint for each account and save it in order to reload each account with its own fingerprint right?

yes

each fingerprint request on server give a new one different from the last request?

Almost always will be new.

as free member is there any limit on fingerprint request ?

limit was 3 prints per minute, maybe changed.

@hnb

After I added 'Ignore Errors', the log showed 'Error occurred : Timeout during Reset'.

Does this mean Reset not done?

What is the cause of the error?
Can I do something to ensure reset is done?

@jimhill21 said in Reference private npm or local files created outside editor:

Hello,

I have many files I'll be using across many projects that I'd like to include in BAS. Is there either a way to add private npm packages or reference local files not created in the BAS node.js file editor?

As long as I keep the file names the same can I copy over the js files at C:\Users<USER>\AppData\Roaming\BrowserAutomationStudio\apps\22.1.2\embedded<HASH>\distr\lib?

Thanks,
Jim

You can use standard BAS actions to create\download\copy or move the necessary js files. You can get the current directory of the node js module using the __dirname method

Hello,

Where can I find a list of BAS functions or API calls for embedded node.js? I'm doing trial and error currently with the commands and parameters and it's not going well.

Thanks,
JIm

You can simply copy the required BAS action directly into node js

@jimhill21 said in Nested loop:

I'm looping through the "good-stuff" classes and collecting information within it. Then in the children I want to loop through each of the paths and get their fill. Currently, it isn't looping correctly. I'll attach a screen shot of my loop.

You start a nested loop for completely different elements. The selector of the elements of the first cycle [[FOR_EACH_MATCH]]>AT>[[CYCLE_INDEX]]. A nested loop uses the [[SAVED_XML_1]]>MATCH>div>MATCH>svg
