Best way to trim end of line?

    Hello BaSsers,

    I have a string of chars and I have split the line on = Using regexp.
    I now have the result;

    Slightly Stronger Bandit approaches you.Attack Slightly Stronger Bandit A bandit with arms the size of tooth picks...except this time slightly stronger tooth picks. Level 6 Strength 12 Defence 12 Close var dialog

    The beginning is always random but the end "Close var dialog" is odd. I've tried to replace on Whitespace but I get like a 100 , then. Is there something available to Trim always 17 Charachters of the string?

    Kindly advise me in which direction I should look If you know the answer :)
