But isn't there a way in BAS to connect directly to the Ethernet adapters on the PC?

Some proxy providers offer APIs that allow you to programmatically reset your IP address. This can be useful if you need to automate the process of IP renewal or if you want to integrate the proxy into your own application.
However, if you have your own personal proxy server, you may need to reset your modem manually to obtain a new IP address. This can typically be done by turning off your modem or router for a few minutes and then turning it back on again. If you want to automate this process, you may need to create a custom script that can remotely control your modem or router.

To change your IP when needed, load the reset URL in BAS. If you need to know how you can implement it, please consult BAS documentation. There is any needed information about anything you will need.
