@apadfaxa AMConfig is the variable that is set at "Start server" action. So you have to make sure that this action has been started.

Yes, you need to run a server always.

Make sure that the port "4723" is not busy by another process. Perhaps, you already started the appium on the same port.

Guys, anyone found any way to speed up the "click using xpath" option? It always click with delay taking like 10+ seconds to click an element.

My script seems to be working well, but it'll randomly spit out this error "Embedded language execution timeout". I can just rerun from where I'm at but it's annoying since it can happen every few minutes or every hour, so I have to keep watch.

Try downgrading Appium to 1.22.3 (the version OP is using), not sure if a higher version would work/be better but it has to be 1.X. The ADB error might be because you don't have enviroment variables set properly.
