After BAS update - error saying fingerprint switcher key is missing.

BAS was running fine with fingerprint key. BAS nagged me for an update, and now it won't run saying that fingerprint switcher key is missing, even though the key is still stored in the software, and I checked it, and it's correct. I even re copied and pasted it. License is good for another 2 months.

Any help?

@dberteljr There is a lot of information there, but in general you need to insert the active key from FingerprintSwitcher action where you have the error, in the exceptions if you did not use free fingerprints or open a profile without fingerprints

so i uninstalled BAS, and put the old version on. worked fine. but when i let BAS update, then it gave me the error again. it's an issue with the update...

It's not a problem with the update, it's a new algorithm. Now you can't apply a paid fingerprint without a key, even if you downloaded it and saved it to a file.
