Hello everyone,
Came across this issue recently. When setting the proxy it looks like it's leaking my real IP?
I have tried multiple proxy services and have checked many, many.. many leak sites and bot detection. They all come back clean? But intresting enough - when looking at the network calls you'll notice under General Headers being sent 'Remote Address: XXX.XX.XXX:XXXX'. Maybe it's set to bypass the proxy on the bablosoft.com domain? I don't think so - Why? I've been building bots for hundreds of websites since day one of BAS. HTTP Requests with the client works 100% with 0 problems, but my browser based bots that are up against some popular sites have been recently getting blocked with 403 (Access Denied), Drops, Unsuccessful returns. When connecting to the sites with a normal browser hidden behind the same proxy that's 'blocked' everything works perfect - same with the HTTP client. After countless A/B/C testing - BAS <--> Manual (FireFox, Opera, Brave, Edge, even IE) <--> HTTP Client the end result is the connection. Even monitoring the traffic from BAS and multiple browsers.
I've changed the browsers setting, proxy settings, even using Fingerprints to see if that would help. I've gone even as far as reinstalling BAS. (Saddly I do not have any version before 21.5.2 which is happening on this version also)
Thoughts, Opinions, Solutions, or am I just crazy - ha?
The following 2 images is testing via BAS browser & FireFox. HTTP Client returns the proxies IP.
Last image is setting BAS to no proxy and setting the whole system to the proxy/VPN
UPDATE: I found BAS version 21.4.2 on a USB and indeed, Looks like the proxy is being set correctly in 21.4.2 version.
