Можно сделать запись видео с помощью puppeter - https://github.com/prasanaworld/puppeteer-screen-recorder.
Предполагаемая логика работы следующая:
- стартуем встроенный браузер
- получаем remote-debugging-port, цепляемся к нему puppeter
- записываем видео в фоне
