Manual Control w/ Custom Interface

    Howdy There I have a custom interface using the default (not the empty template), and I want to create a button that when clicked will open the browser for manual control. I only have one browser opened at any given time. Where in the code should I modify it so this works? The baseline of:

    
Browser is under user control (Open).

    In the default template I can't find where the 'open' link is coming from or if its an onclick action etc. Any help is greatly appreciated :-)
