He meant one script per thread.
Each asynchronous function started, starts in separate thread.
So in that example you will have 2 threads since 2 asynchronous functions
will be started, each with its own (different) script.

Create a function for some work, in the main function run that function asynchronously, wait for some time, and if the thread is still alive, kill it and exit the thread.
