Is making a Java click suspicious?

Clicking on a website element with JavaScript can be detected as bot activity? I'm running these tests because the site I'm working on has many anti-bot protections that prevent precise clicks with BAS. My only concern is that with JavaScript, no emulation is performed, only the click itself. Thanks for your response.
