Regarding Browser Data Persistence

I have a question: when I need to use a profile to persist data, which order should I follow within the program's workflow? Should I first retrieve and apply the fingerprint data, and then configure the browser profile? Or should I first configure the browser profile, and then retrieve and apply the fingerprint data?
