    I only use BAS to collect BDA, and I perform operations with the BDA I create. This is healthier.

    I do not see any problem here.

    Here's the workflow:

    You make some changes to the BAS script. You deploy the updated script to a location on the internet. On every Windows host running some custom script, there is a process that checks whether the script on the internet has been updated or not. If the script detects an update, it clicks the stop button in BAS, waits for the current process to finish, and then restarts it.

    Such a script can be implemented using tools like Microsoft Power Automate, pywinauto, or any other similar automation tools.

    How to get BAS version and browser version from profile

    Just noticed that the "LastVersion" file in the profile folder, as the name suggests, gets updated when the profile is opened with (another version of) BAS e.g. from 114.0.5735.91 to 117.0.5938.63. Therefore it's not suitable for our need to determine the original version of which a profile was created.
    But at least can be said what was the latest BAS version that worked with it ;)

    I was having some serious eye strain too.
    Just add the following css between head tags:

    File1: apps/{version}/html/toolbox/index.html
    Add css between head tags:
    <style>
    .container-fluid{ background:gray;}
    .panelgridtitle{ color:white;font-weight:bold;}
    .panelgridtitleinner{color:white; font-weight:bold;}
    </style>

    File2: apps/{version}/html/scenario/index.html
    Add css between head tags:
    <style>
    .titlebody{background:#fff;}
    html{background:gray;}
    .container-fluid.main{background:gray; }
    </style>

    And you should get a panel looking like this:

    @0xSentinel thank you for this :) I noticed that it didnt work for any mobile browser generated using fingerprint. it only works with BROWSER based
