BAS is too slow in Record Mode

[A Former User]

Why is BAS so slow in Record Mode?
Some websites do not work, for example sometimes Funcaptchas.
Is there a way to make it faster? I can see it does not use CPU or SSD or anything but still just slow for no reason.

@Grassman Since version 28, many people have encountered this problem, you can search the forum for information about it.
If you want things faster, use older versions.

[000]

use BAS+VPN

ok thank you.
It seems there is no solution available yet. Or is there?

[BAS Viet Nam]

@Grassman This information is from my experience.

• Using proxy in BAS.
• Run BAS with different IP. (VPN, other network providers,...)

Because, it seems, just change the appropriate IP, everything will be fast.
I don't understand why :)))

[A Former User]

ah ok.
Unfortunately I can not change the IPs I am using.
So it is a bug which needs to be fixed.

@Grassman
What version of BAS are you using?
Please record a video demonstrating the problem so that we can understand what is happening.
Also, please tell me what are the specifications of your PC (CPU model, GPU model, amount of RAM)?

Well I decided to do this for you, because BAS is not useable as it is now and we need to fix this.
I am just asking myself why I am paying you and not you me. Anyway. I will try to help soon when I have time.

This is my video:

It shows the difference between normal Chrome and BAS.

BAS version is 28.7.0
I am using USB-Tethering with mobile IPs
CPU is i5-12600K with UHD Graphics 770 and 32 GB of RAM

I made this video to proof the problem is not related to anything else then BAS.
I am using the 100% same setup for Chrome and for BAS
Please do not ask me for more tests. Just fix it.

The problem is every single step is soooo slow. But the bigger problem are website elements like Funcaptcha and other Captchas that fail because it takes too long. This makes BAS not useable in this case.

@Grassman Yes, this has been happening since version 28 was released. I raised the issue earlier, but those who don’t face this problem, of course, always defend their belief that everything works fine, and they wouldn’t know or care about it.
But this is actually a problem.
What’s strange is that if you use THAT SAME COMPUTER with a different network provider, everything works fine.
It’s really odd, and I still can’t explain why it’s being 'blocked' like this, something that has never happened before.

Yes but it seems they are now slowly realizing that there is in fact a problem.

@Grassman
Connecting mobile internet via Wi-Fi. Loading is a bit slower, but not as slow as yours.
slow.webm
We realized this a long time ago, the problem is that we have not yet been able to repeat it, and if we cannot repeat it, then it is impossible to find the problem and fix it, so I ask all users who have this problem, the characteristics of their PC, to try to identify a pattern.
Last question, if you use VPN for the whole system, it doesn't help?

[BAS Viet Nam]

@m4zuper It's not always necessary to ask about the computer's configuration whenever an issue occurs.
We should first review the information we've already gathered.
The real question is: why does the same computer only work with certain networks?
So, I think the key issue here is related to the network.

/Additional information, it started happening from version 28.

Check this script with BAS v28.7.0 in record mode. It hangs for a long time. But in 28.3.0 it's fast.
speed2870.xml

@m4zuper

I just checked all the recent versions, and it's been exactly since version 28.2.0 that the problem has been occurring.
And in this version, I think it's related to some network settings.

I am not using VPN on this PC.

Still not working. I have no use for BAS.
How to downgrade to version before 28.2.0 ?

[artick]

@000 said in BAS is too slow in Record Mode:

why would this help

[artick]

@Grassman https://downloads.bablosoft.com/distr/BrowserAutomationStudio/27.0.0/BrowserAutomationStudioInstallAllInOne.exe

[A Former User]
