im building a desktop app basically and ive already coded most of the back end and it wouldnt be open source, the cost to get each person a key on top of the desktop app cost would end up costing to much for me and my users wouldnt likely pay it. i need it to be able to have access to the to all fingerprints. so leaving the service key empty wont work, i just need a more cost effective way like fingerprint business would work perfect if i didnt need them to login and have control over their keys just in the fingerprint business section, i thought it was going to work so i put money in fingerprint business and can stop it lol. i dont want people to know what im using. unless i can get like a api login for the front end and do it that way. maybe you can dm me and we can figure something out, i really like this fingerprint system its working great for what i need.
CustomPerfectCanvasServer license error - server returns "valid":false
-
Hello,
I bought a FingerprintSwitcher license key, but when using BAS "Get fingerprint" action, I get this error repeatedly:
"Owner of FingerprintSwitcher key doesn't have CustomPerfectCanvasServer license"
The server returns this JSON:
{"valid":false,"message":"Owner of FingerprintSwitcher key doesn't have CustomPerfectCanvasServer license","trylater":false}I have already disabled all PerfectCanvas and Custom server options in both "Get fingerprint" and "Apply fingerprint" nodes, but the error persists.
I will send my account details via private message or email to support if needed.
Please help check why my key is requesting CustomPerfectCanvasServer permission. Thank you.

@Roy-Mustang “Thank you, may I ask what is the difference between using Use custom server as true and false, and also may I ask if the Fingerprint switcher feature has the function to change the user agent?”

@bauser you are welcome,
@bauser said in CustomPerfectCanvasServer license error - server returns "valid":false:
what is the difference between using Use custom server as true and false
a custom server is a technology that allows you to place a script on your website that collects fingerprints from its users and stores them in your personal database in other words, you use your own fingerprints: https://wiki.bablosoft.com/doku.php?id=customservers
in Fingerprint Switcher, the database is shared a fingerprint contains a lot of properties, including the user-agent and many other details: https://fp.bablosoft.com/#capabilities

@Roy-Mustang Hey bro, got another quick question for you. I bought the CustomServers service — is the JS script for fingerprint collection the same as the one in the free version?
-
@bauser As far as I remember, yes the code is the same in both cases. The only difference is that the free version has a limit on the number of fingerprints in the database, and half of the fingerprints collected from your traffic are added to the shared database

@Roy-Mustang Got it, thanks!
